Lino London Joins Bloc
Lino London found in the square mile, very close to Farringdon and Barbican, is one of the latest bars and restaurants to join Bloc. It’s interior is cool and stylish but the food is why you would attend this new and wonderful hot spot.
Richard Falk is in charge of the kitchen and it’s a place for the health conscious Londoners looking for very decent food. Boundaries are pushed as they smoke, salt, ferment and pickle on site. It’s sharing style dining so it’s perfect for groups as well as dates.
It’s an all-day restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as weekend brunch too. There is a beautiful seated bar in the venue where you can enjoy before and after dinner drinks. Check it out and check-in on Bloc and get 6 ⭐ for attending.
Lino’s name is a little nod to the venue’s past. It’s located in a converted Linoleum factory which means big exposed pipes and other features that the creators have tried to keep. The interior is extremely well thought out with blue and salmon-pink furnishings with a pairing of brass fixtures.
The location is perfectly situated between Barbican and St Paul’s and is very spacious. The highlight of the venue is their beautiful clover leaf-shaped bar made from waxed tulipwood. The venue is so big that they also have a backroom, literally called, ‘The Back Room’, where ‘things are bit more relaxed’. Customers can relax in here with their morning coffee, choose from a selection of small plates in the evening and enjoy one of their signature cocktails. This space can also be hired out for private functions.
The whole venue oozes cool and customers won’t be disappointed if they go.
How Lino London Is Using Bloc
The Farringdon and Barbican areas are so dense with restaurants and bars aimed at residents and city workers there’s a lot of noise. We don’t mean literal noise, but noise within the marketing space, all competing with one another to grab the attention of potential customers.
Lino London’s competitive edge comes with Bloc ads. Their newsfeed ad showcases their beautiful clover leafed bar and unique features that is pushed to every Bloc user within 15 miles of the venue. Our newsfeed ad is the perfect way to tell our users that a venue can be checked in to and they receive 6 ⭐ if they go instead of 3.
We use geo-location technology to track whether a customer attends and if they do in fact go, they receive ⭐. Once they collected enough ⭐ they can exchange them for real money. Bloc’s users are very motivated to check-in to venues such as Lino.
Bloc’s interactive map showing every venue that people have checked into on that date is extremely busy in the area Lino is situated. By advertising with Bloc Lino’s venue is represented by a star and stands out from all of the local competition. Lino is also pushed to the top of events list where Lino gets more click throughs to their venue compared to non-advertised venues.
As well as these 3 placements Lino is taking full advantage of Bloc’s 100 yard notification. Lino showcases a deal of Mon-Fri cocktails for £6.50 and 6 ⭐ if they attend. This is sent to every Bloc user who comes within 100 yards of Lino and as you can imagine, it’s pinged out a lot to people in that area. It’s a powerful way to draw people from the streets and other venues.
